University extended their winning streak  to seven  on Friday, bumping them up to 18-3. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Montrose Red Hawks. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Red Hawks  on October 4th, they had to take a  3-2  loss.
 Delaney Lauer paced University's offense, picking up 16 kills. Lauer got some help from  Kenley Rudiger and her 40 assists. Rudiger and  Lauer didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.
As for Montrose, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss they have suffered  since November 15, 2024.
 Montrose's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Amaya Potter, who  had ten  digs and one  assist, and  Reina Contreras, who  had three  digs and two assists.
 University wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  loss against Ralston Valley on the 1st. As for Montrose, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  3-0  victory against Eaton on the 1st.
