Soccer Game Preview: Sam Houston vs. Fox Tech

The Sam Houston Hurricanes are taking a road trip to challenge the Fox Tech Buffaloes at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sam Houston's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Sam Houston's offense. They came up short against Brackenridge on Wednesday, falling 10-0.

Meanwhile, Fox Tech came up short against Brackenridge on Saturday and fell 4-2. Fox Tech haven't had much luck with Brackenridge recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fox Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Sam Houston, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Sam Houston might still be hurting after the 4-1 defeat they got from Fox Tech when the teams last played back in March of 2025. Can the Hurricanes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
