Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Perry Central). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the South Central Rebels an 18-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Commodores haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Perry Central's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for South Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Perry Central will challenge Orleans at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for South Central, they will take on Lanesville at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
