Southampton had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Windsor Dukes on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Dukes: they've now won eight in a row.

Zoe Banks was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 20 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, Paisley Benson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. That home run was her first of the season.

Southampton's record is now 21-3. As for Windsor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-5.

As of now, neither Southampton nor the Dukes have any future games scheduled.
