Volleyball Recap: Ema-Lee Burke's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Thunderbird over Cactus Shadows

Thunderbird was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Cactus Shadows Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on Wednesday.

Thunderbird lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ema-Lee Burke, who had 12 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.
