League recap: Giltner tops Anselmo-Merna to extend winning streak

Giltner extended the longest winning streak in D2 District 5 (8 Man) this week by beating Anselmo-Merna, 42-6. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.

Giltner took down the Coyotes 42-6 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jake Findley threw for 338 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 12 yards in the win.

Giltner's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Findley has thrown for 2862 yards and 49 touchdowns this season, while Kyle Hawthorne has 60 catches for 1097 yards. Findley also leads the league in rushing with 366 yards.

Jeff Ashby's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Anselmo-Merna. Findley in the win.
