Recap: Hialeah Thoroughbreds vs. North Miami Beach Chargers
The Hialeah Thoroughbreds lost against the North Miami Beach Chargers back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Hialeah was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 52-51 to North Miami Beach.
It was another big night for Jaycob Joseph, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and ten rebounds for North Miami Beach. The matchup was Joseph's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jephte Noel, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Hialeah's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-2. As for North Miami Beach, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
Hialeah will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Atlantic at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. North Miami Beach and Stranahan will round out the year against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Stranahan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Miami Beach in Florida (Stranahan is ranked 66th, while North Miami Beach is ranked 321st).
