St. Augustine came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 60-56 win over the Mission Bay Buccaneers. The Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buccaneers, too.

St. Augustine's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-12. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Mission Bay, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season.

St. Augustine and Mission Bay should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. St. Augustine (ranked 197th) will meet Scripps Ranch (ranked 417th) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mission Bay will take on University City at 7:30 p.m. on Friday up 193 places (50 vs. 243).
