Softball Recap: Manchester Comes Up Short

Manchester lost against RHAM on Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Hawks took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raptors. The Red Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Riley Shove ?27 made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. Tori Jones '25 also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Manchester's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for RHAM, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Raptors beat Manchester by a score of 7-4 later that day.
