Soccer Recap: South Umpqua Comes Up Short

South Umpqua managed to slip by Glide the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lancers lost 9-1 to the Wildcats on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that South Umpqua have lost by exactly eight goals.

South Umpqua's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Glide, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. South Umpqua will take on rival Illinois Valley on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Glide is set to square off against their familiar foe Sutherlin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
