Volleyball Recap: Lighthouse Christian Academy Continues Home Dominance on Saturday

There's no place like home for Lighthouse Christian Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against the Brown County Eagles by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Lighthouse Christian Academy was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-22, 24-26, 25-18, 25-14.

Taylor Helbert paced Lighthouse Christian Academy's offense, picking up 28 kills. Helbert got some help from Jane Holdeman and her 33 assists. Helbert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Despite the loss, Brown County still got an impressive performance from Aubree Denton, who had 11 kills, seven digs, and three aces. Makayla Shrader was another key player, getting 12 digs and four aces.
