Soccer Recap: Grand Rapids Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Duluth East, Grand Rapids was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They skirted past the Marshall Hilltoppers 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 last Thursday.

Grand Rapids is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1.

Grand Rapids wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Esko on the 9th. Marshall has also already played their next game (against Proctor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
