Narraguagus proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Mount Desert Island Trojans 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row dating back to last season.

Narraguagus wouldn't go down easily and took Mount Desert Island into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-21, 25-16, 21-25, 15-10.

Lola Worcester paced Narraguagus' offense, picking up 31 kills. Worcester got some help from Kaitlyn Grant and her 31 assists.

Narraguagus' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Mount Desert Island, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Narraguagus has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Machias on the 16th. As for Mount Desert Island, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Washington Academy on the 13th.
