The Gainesville Red Elephants will venture away from home to take on the Cherokee Bluff Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gainesville will be strutting in after a victory while Cherokee Bluff will be coming in after a loss.

Gainesville's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Central Gwinnett with a sharp 6-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Gainesville.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bears on Friday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Mountain View who was credited with the victory. Mountain View got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Cherokee Bluff's two. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Cherokee Bluff's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Gainesville now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cherokee Bluff, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 2-1.
