Football Recap: Sequoyah Starts off Right with Win over Denmark + How To Watch

Sequoyah took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Denmark, sneaking past 24-21. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chiefs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Several Denmark players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Evan Jones, who threw for 239 yards and one touchdown, and also punched in one rushing score. 90 of Jones' passing yards were hauled in by Michael Palmieri.

Coming up, Sequoyah will square off against Cherokee at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Denmark, they will take on River Ridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
