Soccer Game Preview: Sharpstown vs. Westbury + Official Tickets

The Sharpstown Apollos will head out to take on the Westbury Huskies at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Sharpstown is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.6 goals per game this season.

Sharpstown will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one goal on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Waltrip on Friday. The Apollos blew past the Rams 5-2. The contest was close at halftime, but Sharpstown turned on the heat in the second half with three goals.

They hit Waltrip with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tony Fajardo (2), Josue Kouadio (2), and Maury Jimenez.

Meanwhile, Westbury waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Marlins by a score of 3-1. Given Westbury's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 288th, while Madison are ranked 737th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sharpstown's record is now 14-6. As for Westbury, their record now sits at 11-4-2.
