Soccer Recap: Statesville Takes a Loss

Statesville lost against East Wilkes last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Statesville Greyhounds came up short against the East Wilkes Cardinals, falling 6-3. The Greyhounds have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Statesville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for East Wilkes, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Statesville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Foard at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. We've got a battle between Cardinals coming up. East Surry will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something East Wilkes surely won't give up without a fight.
