Volleyball Recap: Hartford Orioles vs. De Pere Redbirds
Hartford was the 2-0 winner over De Pere when they last played one another back in September of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Orioles fell just short of the Redbirds by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.
Grace Burton paced Hartford's offense, picking up six kills. Burton got some help from Lydia Krasselt and her eight assists. Khloe Walling controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
De Pere was led to victory by Morgan Blum and Mallory Derenne. Blum had six digs and three aces, while Derenne had 13 digs and one assist. The dominant performance also gave Blum a new career-high in assists (11).
