Volleyball Recap: Jefferson Jaguars vs. Concordia Academy Beacons

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of the Concordia Academy Beacons by a score of 3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Jefferson sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-14, 21-25, 25-21, 25-27, 15-10.

Emma Wasiloski had an outrageously good game for Concordia Academy as she had 22 digs and two aces.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win vs. Benilde-St. Margaret's on the 26th. As for Concordia Academy, they will challenge Andover at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Concordia Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
