Basketball Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

Aurora suffered their biggest loss since December 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They were outmatched by the Tallmadge Blue Devils and fell 74-47. While losing is never fun, the Greenmen can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 496th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 172nd).

Aurora dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Tallmadge, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Aurora will be playing in front of their home fans against Roosevelt at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Tallmadge, they will venture away from home to square off against Cuyahoga Falls at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
