Baseball Recap: Mammoth Comes Up Short

If Mammoth was feeling good fresh off their 26-3 takedown of Immanuel Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskies lost 15-2 to the Kern Valley Broncs on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Broncs: they've now lost six in a row.

Mammoth's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Kern Valley, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mammoth is set to square off against their familiar foe Bishop Union at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kern Valley will take on rival Boron at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
