It was a proper cat-fight when South Lyon faced off against South Lyon East on Saturday. The Lions fell 2-0 to the Cougars. The Lions' defeat signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Kennedy Duncan paced South Lyon's offense, picking up eight kills. Duncan got some help from Lucy Stoll and her 14 assists.

South Lyon's loss dropped their record down to 34-9. As for South Lyon East, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 39-7-1 record this season.
