Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask De Soto). They blew past the La Farge Wildcats 74-44 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Pirates have posted since December 13, 2024.

De Soto's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for La Farge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. De Soto will challenge Ithaca at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Ithaca's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. As for La Farge, they will head out to face off against North Crawford at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. North Crawford will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something La Farge surely won't give up without a fight.
