Basketball Recap: Southern Fulton Comes Up Short

Southern Fulton lost against Tussey Mountain back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Southern Fulton Indians were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 33-32 to the Tussey Mountain Titans. The matchup marked the Indians' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Southern Fulton's loss came despite strong showings from Teagan Ritz and Sam Stotler. Ritz dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten boards, while Stotler posted 15 points. Gaven Mellott was another key player, putting up six points.

This is the second loss in a row for Southern Fulton and nudges their season record down to 4-5. As for Tussey Mountain, they pushed their record up to 3-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southern Fulton will face off against Everett at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tussey Mountain, they will square off against Southern Huntingdon County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
