The team relied heavily on Jake Taylor, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Connor Taylor was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Central Crossing's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central Crossing will welcome Bishop Ready at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Grove City Christian, they will host Fairfield Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
