Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Caiden Quarles and Jaden Allen Lead Brookhaven to Victory

Brookhaven had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 42-24 victory over the South Jones Braves. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Brookhaven to victory were Jaden Allen and Caiden Quarles. Allen threw for 228 yards and three TDs while completing 73.7% of his passes, while Quarles gained 202 total yards and a touchdown. That's the most passing touchdowns Allen has posted since back in August.

Brookhaven was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 296 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 12 points in total. All came from Isaac Iles: he went 3-for-3 kicking field goals for nine points, and 3-for-3 again kicking extra points for an additional three.

Brookhaven's record is now 6-2. As for South Jones, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-2.
