Northside won against Booneville on Thursday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Grizzlies' pitchers stepped up to hand the Springdale Bulldogs an 8-0 shutout. Considering the Grizzlies have won six games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Northside pushed their record up to 9-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Springdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.

Northside will have a chance to go back-to-back against Springdale: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
