Softball Recap: Delphi Community Oracles vs. Faith Christian Eagles

Delphi Community had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. Everything went their way against the Faith Christian Eagles as the Delphi Community Oracles made off with a 12-2 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Delphi Community also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2023.

Lexi Miller made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. Miller was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and a stolen base.

In other batting news, Lacey Pickering was a standout: she scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Madyson Anderson, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

On Faith Christian's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Izzy Scott, who went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
