Baseball Preview: Johnston Panthers vs. Barrington Eagles
The Johnston Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Barrington Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The pair have allowed few runs on average, (Johnston: 3.6, Barrington: 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Johnston is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Prout, who was ranked 17th in their home state at the time (Johnston was ranked 16th). Johnston skirted past Prout 8-7.
