Basketball Game Preview: Sun Prairie West Wolves vs. Madison West Regents

The Sun Prairie West Wolves will challenge the Madison West Regents at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Sun Prairie West's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Last Tuesday, Sun Prairie West lost to Kettle Moraine on the road by a 72-57 margin. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Lasers are ranked fourth).

Meanwhile, Madison West ended up a good deal behind Germantown on Tuesday and lost 75-56. The Regents have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sun Prairie West's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.2 points over those games. As for Madison West, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
