Basketball Recap: John Ehret Comes Up Short

John Ehret was the 48-42 winner over L.W. Higgins when they last played one another back in December of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriots took a 41-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes on Monday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

John Ehret's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for L.W. Higgins, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 12-11.

While John Ehret had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
