Basketball Recap: Otter Valley Sets Scoring Season-High Against Brattleboro

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Otter Valley). They took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 73-46 win over the Brattleboro Bears. The Otters pushed the score to 60-24 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bears cut but never quite recovered from.

Brattleboro lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dawson Wheeler, who posted eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Tabachnick, who put up ten points.

Otter Valley is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.9 points per game. As for Brattleboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Otter Valley will host Windsor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brattleboro, they will welcome Hartford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brattleboro is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.9 points per game this season.
