Soccer Game Preview: Fountain-Fort Carson vs. Liberty

Fountain-Fort Carson is 1-9 against Liberty since October of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lancers at 7:00 p.m.

Fountain-Fort Carson came up short against Pine Creek on Thursday, falling 6-1. While losing is never fun, Fountain-Fort Carson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 124th, while Pine Creek are ranked 15th).

Fountain-Fort Carson's goal came courtesy of Suami Mbaya, who's now up to eight this season.

Meanwhile, Liberty kept a clean sheet against Pueblo West on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cyclones. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Liberty as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Fountain-Fort Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5-2. As for Liberty, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-4.
