Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Barrington). They blew past the Smithfield Sentinels 83-49 on Monday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 20 points or more this season.

Colin McDermott went supernova for Barrington, putting up 28 points. The dominant performance gave McDermott a new career-high in points. Caleb Satisfield was another key player, posting 14 points.

The win was the fifth in a row for Barrington, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. As for Smithfield, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Barrington will challenge La Salle Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. La Salle Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Smithfield, they and North Kingstown will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played.
