Baseball Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

Northside has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.5 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Thursday. They came up short against the Morrilton Devil Dogs, falling 10-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 9-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Northside and nudges their season record down to 4-2. As for Morrilton, their win was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0.

While Northside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
