Basketball Recap: GEO Next Generation Tigers vs. Parkview Baptist Eagles
GEO Next Generation has relied on a stalwart defense averaging 29.81 points allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They had to suffer through a 68-33 loss at the hands of the Parkview Baptist Eagles. The Tigers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Despite the defeat, GEO Next Generation saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kimberly Jack posted 15 points. Jack is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ivoryana Powell, who had seven points.
