Football Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Riverside had lost four straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 2-4 to make it five. They were beaten by the John Champe Knights 41-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Ram haven't been shut out since back in August.

Nathan Sullivan threw for 61 yards on eight of 20 attempts. Hunter Davis was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards. On the ground, Jordan Green rushed for 26 yards.

As for John Champe, the victory got them back to even at 3-3. The matchup marked their most dominant win of the season.

John Champe got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dominic Plush out in front who threw for 350 yards and three TDs. Plush is becoming a predictor of the Knights' success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Tyler Kann was another key player, gaining 147 total yards and two touchdowns.
