Volleyball Recap: Sebeka Takes a Loss

Sebeka was the 2-0 winner over Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Fighting Saints on Thursday.

When it comes to explaining why Sebeka lost, don't look at Emma Ness. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs. Ness is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Sebeka has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-11 record this season. As for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-14 record this season.

Sebeka has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Underwood on the 16th. As for Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg, after both having extra time off, they and New London-Spicer will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
