Jefferson City and Helias are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2019, but not for long. The Jays will square off against the Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Jefferson City's tournament run continued when they took on Lafayette on Saturday. The Jays took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers. The defeat continues a trend for the Jays in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Helias entered their tilt with Hermann on Monday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 3-1.

Helias was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17, 24-26, 25-18.

Helias' victory bumped their record up to 28-1-1. As for Jefferson City, their loss dropped their record down to 16-11-1.

Everything went Jefferson City's way against Helias when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Jefferson City made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Jays since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
