Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

After flying high against Compton last Tuesday, Lakewood came back down to earth. The Lancers lost 3-0 to the Woodrow Wilson Bruins on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Lancers in their meetings with the Bruins: they've now lost nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-11, 25-18.

Lakewood's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Woodrow Wilson, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.

Lakewood has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Sonora on the 5th. As for Woodrow Wilson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Long Beach Poly on the 8th.
