Softball Recap: South Charleston Black Eagles vs. Riverside Warriors
South Charleston lost against Riverside back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The South Charleston Black Eagles lost 9-1 to the Riverside Warriors. South Charleston has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
South Charleston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Frye, who went 1-for-2 with a double and an RBI.
On Riverside's side, McKinley Clark was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Keelee Harrison, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
South Charleston's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Riverside, the win got them back to even at 11-11.
As of now, neither South Charleston nor Riverside have any future games scheduled.
