Softball Recap: Beauregard Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Beauregard's offense. They came up short against the Daphne Trojans on Saturday, falling 9-0.

Beauregard's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Daphne, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-3 record this season.

Beauregard and Daphne should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings. Beauregard will challenge Smiths Station at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 109 places (49 vs. 158). Meanwhile, Daphne (ranked eighth) will meet Mobile Christian (ranked 77th) at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
