Basketball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus and Manhattan squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Columbus had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to the Manhattan Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Cougars in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Columbus' defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Manhattan, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Columbus nor Manhattan have any future games scheduled.
