Baseball Recap: Poston Butte Takes a Loss

ALA - Queen Creek hit Poston Butte with a four-run second inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Broncos fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 5-4. The Broncos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Isael Aguilera spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Cordd Baker was cooking despite his team's loss, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 4-for-4.
