Heritage Christian entered their tilt with First Baptist Academy on Saturday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came out on top against the First Baptist Academy Eagles by a score of 56-46. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 83-70 last Friday.

First Baptist Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Noah Napier and Timothy De La Rosa. Napier dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds, while De La Rosa dropped a double-double on ten points and ten assists. Napier's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Xaidyn McKennon, who posted five points and eight boards.

Heritage Christian pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for First Baptist Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-13.

Heritage Christian will head out on the road to take on Gateway Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Heritage Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Gateway Christian likes a good challenge. First Baptist Academy has already played their next contest, a 60-32 victory against River City Believers Academy on the 28th.
