Softball Recap: Dugger Union Comes Up Short

Dugger Union and Clay City squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Dugger Union had to settle for second. They came up short against the Eels, falling 19-2. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Dugger Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Clay City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Dugger Union nor Clay City have any future games scheduled.
