Volleyball Recap: Roanoke-Benson Takes a Loss

Roanoke-Benson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wethersfield Flying Geese. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Flying Geese when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Roanoke-Benson's loss dropped their record down to 1-16-1. As for Wethersfield, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Coming up, Roanoke-Benson will be taking part in a tournament against Abingdon/Avon at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Wethersfield, their road trip will continue as they head out to face Illini Bluffs at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
