Baseball Recap: Calhoun Red Devils vs. Hannan Wildcats
The Calhoun Red Devils made easy work of the Hannan Wildcats on Wednesday and carried off a 12-5 victory.
Chase Schoolcraft made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Calhoun's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 8-2 (and 2-13 when he doesn't).
