Baseball Recap: Logan County Takes a Loss

Logan County lost against Greenwood back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars lost 13-1 to the Gators. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Logan County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lyndon Wilson, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-5. As for Greenwood, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan County will host Christian County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greenwood, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Allen County-Scottsville at 6:00 p.m.
