Baseball Recap: Valley Takes a Loss

Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Knoch Knights. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 last Monday.

Valley saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dante Taliani, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Valley's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Knoch, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Valley will host Armstrong at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Knoch, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Freeport at 5:30 p.m.
